Is This The Only Question You Bring To Me, Is This The Only Power That Obsesses You, So That You Must Make Us Gods And Devils Yourself When The Only Power That Exists Is Inside Ourselves? How Could You Believe In These Old Fantastical Lies, These Myths, These Emblems Of The Supernatural?

Old Truths And Ancient Magic, Revolution And Invention, All Conspire To Distract Us From The Passion That In One Way Or Another Defeats Us All.

I'm Hoping What All Sentient Beings Hope ... That Somehow I'm Part Of Something Larger Than Myself, In Which I Play A Role, An Actual Role That Is Somehow Intended And Meaningful.

The Vampires Have Always Been Metaphors For Me. They've Always Been Vehicles Through Which I Can Express Things I Have Felt Very, Very Deeply.

Once I Returned To The Church And Began To See The Universe As A Place That Really Did Incorporate Redemption And Really Tried To Understand The Implications Of There Being A God, My Identification With The Vampires As Outcasts, As Outsiders And Lost Souls Began To Totally Wane.
