When You Fear God You Fear Nothing

A Saint Is Never Consciously A Saint- A Saint Is Consciously Dependent On God.

The Prayer Of The Saints Is Never Self-important, But Always God-important.

God Is Not Concerned About Our Plans; He Doesn’t Ask, “do You Want To Go Through This Loss Of A Loved One, This Difficulty, Or This Defeat?” No, He Allows These Things For His Own Purpose. The Things We Are Going Through Are Either Making Us Sweeter, Better, And Nobler Men And Women, Or They Are Making Us More Critical And Fault-finding, And More Insistent On Our Own Way. The Things That Happen Either Make Us Evil, Or They Make Us More Saintly, Depending Entirely On Our Relationship With God And Its Level Of Intimacy.

There Is A Vast Difference Between Devotion To A Person And Devotion To Principles Or To A Cause. Our Lord Never Proclaimed A Cause- He Proclaimed Personal Devotion To Himself. To Be A Disciple Is To Be A Devoted Bondservant Motivated By Love For The Lord Jesus.

Our Yesterdays Present Irreparable Things To Us; It Is True That We Have Lost Opportunities Which Will Never Return, But God Can Transform This Destructive Anxiety Into A Constructive Thoughtfulness For The Future. Let The Past Sleep, But Let It Sleep On The Bosom Of Christ. Leave The Irreparable Past In His Hands, And Step Out Into The Irresistible Future With Him.
