Prayer Is The Answer To Every Problem There Is.

Our Lord’s Making Of A Disciple Is Supernatural. He Does Not Build On Any Natural Capacity Of Ours At All. God Does Not Ask Us To Do The Things That Are Naturally Easy For Us- He Only Asks Us To Do The Things That We Are Perfectly Fit To Do Through His Grace, And That Is Where The Cross We Must Bear Will Always Come.

Faith By Its Very Nature Must Be Tried, And The Real Trial Of Faith Is Not That We Find It Difficult To Trust God, But That God's Character Has To Be Cleared In Our Own Minds. Faith In Its Actual Working Out Has To Go Through Spells Of Unsyllabled Isolation. Never Confound The Trial Of Faith With The Ordinary Discipline Of Life. Much That We Call The Trial Of Faith Is The Inevitable Result Of Being Alive.

God Is Not Concerned About Our Plans; He Doesn’t Ask, “do You Want To Go Through This Loss Of A Loved One, This Difficulty, Or This Defeat?” No, He Allows These Things For His Own Purpose. The Things We Are Going Through Are Either Making Us Sweeter, Better, And Nobler Men And Women, Or They Are Making Us More Critical And Fault-finding, And More Insistent On Our Own Way. The Things That Happen Either Make Us Evil, Or They Make Us More Saintly, Depending Entirely On Our Relationship With God And Its Level Of Intimacy.

Faith Never Knows Where It Is Being Led, But It Loves And Knows The One Who Is Leading.
