When God Commands, Do It!

If There Is Trouble In The Country, Neither I Nor My People Made It, And All That We Have Ever Done, After Much Endurance On Our Part, Is To Maintain And Uphold The Constitution And Institutions Of Our Country, And To Protect An Injured, Innocent, And Persecuted People Against Misrule And Mob Violence.

Nothing Is So Much Calculated To Lead People To Forsake Sin As To Take Them By The Hand And To Watch Over Them In Tenderness. When Persons Manifest The Least Kindness And Love To Me, O What Pow'r It Has Over My Mind.

Therefore Let The Saints Be Diligent In Building The Temple, And All Houses Which They Have Been, Or Shall Hereafter Be, Commanded Of God To Build; And Wait Their Time With Patience In All Meekness, Faith, Perseverance Unto The End.

Let Us Here Observe, That A Religion That Does Not Require The Sacrifice Of All Things, Never Has Power Sufficient To Produce The Faith Necessary Unto Life And Salvation.

Truth Revealed From Heaven Is Worth More Than All The Notions Of Men.
