George And I - George Was The Leader At The Time - Took The Heat From Every Liberal Group Saying, "no, No, That's Not The Way The System Is Supposed To Work, Since The Constitution - The President Shall Propose And The Constitution Shall Dispose, We're Going To Let Them Hear This."

There's One Advantage In Having Been Around As Long As I Have. Everybody In The Senate Knows Me, And - I'm Going To Say Something Presumptuous, To Repeat Myself - I Think Most Respect Me.

I Am Absolutely Comfortable With The Fact That Men Marrying Men, Women Marrying Women, And Heterosexual Men And Women Marrying Another Are Entitled To The Same Exact Rights, All The Civil Rights, All The Civil Liberties. And Quite Frankly, I Don't See Much Of A Distinction Beyond That.
