For The Federal Government Deliberately To Go Out To Build Up And Expand... A Power And Manufacturing Business Is To Break Down The Initiative And Enterprise Of The American People; It Is The Destruction Of Equality Of Opportunity Amongst Our People, It Is The Negation Of The Ideals Upon Which Our Civilization Has Been Based.

The American People Are Doing Their Job Today. They Should Be Given A Chance To Show Whether They Wish To Preserve The Principles Of Individual And Local Responsibility And Mutual Self-help Before They Embark On What I Believe To Be A Disastrous System. I Feel Sure They Will Succeed If Given The Opportunity.
