Compassion Can Be Roughly Defined In Terms Of A State Of Mind That Is Nonviolent, Nonharming, And Nonaggressive. It Is A Mental Attitude Based On The Wish For Others To Be Free Of Their Suffering And Is Associated With A Sense Of Commitment, Responsibility, And Respect Towards Others.

Patience As We Wait To Take Action Is A Kind Of Compassionate Mind. Impatience On The Other Hand Can Be A Source Of Failure.

I Believe That The Basic Nature Of Human Beings Is Gentle And Compassionate. It Is Therefore In Our Own Interest To Encourage That Nature, To Make It Live Within Us, To Leave Room For It To Develop. If On The Contrary We Use Violence, It Is As If We Voluntarily Obstruct The Positive Side Of Human Nature And Prevent Its Evolution.

When The Days Become Longer And There Is More Sunshine, The Grass Becomes Fresh And, Consequently, We Feel Very Happy. On The Other Hand, In Autumn, One Leaf Falls Down And Another Leaf Falls Down. The Beautiful Plants Become As If Dead And We Do Not Feel Very Happy. Why? I Think It Is Because Deep Down Our Human Nature Likes Construction, And Does Not Like Destruction. Naturally, Every Action Which Is Destructive Is Against Human Nature. Constructiveness Is The Human Way. Therefore, I Think That In Terms Of Basic Human Feeling, Violence Is Not Good. Non-violence Is The Only Way.
