The #1 Responsibility For Each Of Us Is To Change Ourselves With Hope That Others Will Follow. This Is Of Greater Importance Than Working On Changing The Government; That Is Secondary To Promoting A Virtuous Society. If We Can Achieve This, Then The Government Will Change.

Immigrants Can Spread Diseases For Which We May Have No Immunity. There Is Also The Question Of Crime And Culture. Many Immigrants Come From Countries With Different Legal Structures And Are Not Willing To Behave In The Way We Expect American Citizens To Behave.

The Problem Is That Democracy Is Not Freedom. Democracy Is Simply Majoritarianism, Which Is Inherently Incompatible With Real Freedom. Our Founding Fathers Clearly Understood This.

Everybody Complains About Pork, But Members Of Congress Keep Spending Because Voters Do Not Throw Them Out Of Office For Doing So. The Rotten System In Congress Will Change Only When The American People Change Their Beliefs About The Proper Role Of Government In Our Society. Too Many Members Of Congress Believe They Can Solve All Economic Problems, Cure All Social Ills, And Bring About Worldwide Peace And Prosperity Simply By Creating New Federal Programs. We Must Reject Unlimited Government And Reassert The Constitutional Rule Of Law If We Hope To Halt The Spending Orgy.

The Last Line Of Defense In Support Of Freedom And The Constitution Consists Of The People Themselves. If The People Want To Be Free, If They Want To Lift Themselves Out From Underneath A State Apparatus That Threatens Their Liberties, Squanders Their Resources On Needless Wars, Destroys The Value Of The Dollar, And Spews Forth Endless Propaganda About How Indispensable It Is And How Lost We Would All Be Without It, There Is No Force That Can Stop Them.
