I Think When You're Running For President, Especially Someone That's Never Held Elected Office, There's One Set Of Things That You May View The World Through - A Lens That You May View The World Through. Then, You Get Elected And You Get Good People. And Those Good People Bring You The Facts. And They Bring You, "here's What's Going On. Here Are Our Options. Here's What Happens If You Do This. Here's What Happens When You Do That." And That Reality Begins To Assert Itself. And You Have To React To That. You're Now The President. You're No Longer A Candidate.

If I Were Running To Be Somebody, There Are A Lot Of Easier Sombodies To Be. After All, Running Against The Incumbent Governor Of Your Own Party In Your Home State Is Not The Next Logical Step In A Political Life.

If Someone Knows Of A Job Creator Anywhere In The World That's Looking For A High, Complex Tax Environment Or Looking For A High Regulatory Environment, I Would Like To Meet Them Because I Have Yet To Meet A Job Creator That's Looking For That, And That's What We Have.

Our Higher Education System Is Controlled By What Amounts To A Cartel Of Existing Colleges And Universities, Which Use Their Power Over The Accreditation Process To Block Innovative, Low-cost Competitors From Entering The Market.

We Can Not Continue To Allow This Over Reliance On Government To Replace The Cornerstone Institution That Has Made The American Experience Possible.
