My Dad Grew Up In Banbridge, Northern Ireland, Desperate To Get To London. I Grew Up In London, So I Don't Know What It's Like To Yearn For The Big City From A Small Town.

I Think Part Of Me Would Love To Play A Drag Queen, Just Because It Would Be An Excuse To Wear Loads Of Eye Makeup.

We Would Choreograph [ With Paul Dano] Before Each Scene [in Swiss Army Man] And Very Quickly Got To A Place Where We Could Improvise Physically In Scene And Know That The Other Person Would Respond In Character Appropriately. So That [dynamic] Was A Lot Of Fun.

As Much As I Would Love To Be A Person That Goes To Parties And Has A Couple Of Drinks And Has A Nice Time - That Doesn't Work For Me. I Do That Very Unsuccessfully. I'd Just Rather Sit At Home And Read, Or Go Out To Dinner With Someone, Or Talk To Someone I Love, Or Talk To Somebody That Makes Me Laugh.

I Don't Think Of Those Things [from Farting, To Male On Male Affection, To Crossdressing] As Being Taboo, I Suppose, So It Didn't Strike Me As, "oh, I'm Breaking Boundaries And Stuff..."
