Dialogue Means Compromise; Respecting Each Other’s Rights; In The Spirit Of Reconciliation There Is A Real Solution To Conflict And Disagreement. There Is No Hundred Percent Winner, No Hundred Percent Loser—not That Way But Half-and-half. That Is The Practical Way, The Only Way.

The Way Of Presentation Is Different According To Each Religion. In Theistic Religions Like Buddhism, Buddhist Values Are Incorporated. In Nontheistic Religions, Like Some Types Of Ancient Indian Thought, The Law Of Karma Applies. If You Do Something Good, You Get A Good Result. Now, What We Need Is A Way To Educate Nonbelievers. These Nonbelievers May Be Critical Of All Religions, But They Should Be Decent At Heart.

If We Adopt A Self-centered Approach To Life, By Which We Attempt To Use Others For Our Own Self Interest, We Might Be Able To Gain Temporary Benefits, But In The Long Run We Will Not Succeed In Achieving Even Our Personal Happiness, And Hope For The Next Life Is Out Of The Question.

I Believe That The Time Has Come For Women To Take More Active Roles In All Domains Of Human Society, In An Age In Which Education And The Capacities Of The Mind, Not Physical Strength, Define Leadership. This Could Help Create A More Equitable And Compassionate Society.

Consciousness Will Always Be Present, Though A Particular Consciousness May Cease. For Example, The Particular Tactile Consciousness That Is Present Within This Human Body Will Cease When The Body Comes To An End. Likewise, Consciousnesses That Are Influenced By Ignorance, By Anger Or By Attachment, These Too Will Cease. But The Basic, Ultimate, Innermost Subtle Consciousness Will Always Remain. It Has No Beginning, And It Will Have Not End.
