[the Republicans] Have Come Up With Nothing. They Say Repeal And Replace. That Has Alliteration. But That's All It Has Going For It Because They Don't Have A Replacement. What They Have Put Forth And Outlined Will Cost More To Consumers. It Will Cover Fewer People. It Will Give Tax Breaks To The Wealthiest People.

I Don't Reject The Concept Of Preemptive War. I'm A Mother Of Five. I Have Five Grandchildren. And I Always Say: Think Of A Lioness. Think Of A Mother Bear. You Come Anywhere Near Our Cubs, You're Dead. And So, In Terms Of Any Threat To Our Country, People Have To Know We'll Be There To Preemptively Strike. But What The President [bush] Did Was, On The Basis Of No Real Intelligence For An Imminent Threat To Our Country, Chose To Go Into A War For Reasons That Are Still Unknown To Us.

Older People Are Not Going To Evaporate From The Face Of The Earth For Two Years. They're Going To Have Medical Need And They're Going To Have To Be Attended To. And The Earlier Intervention For It, The Less The Cost Will Be And The Better The Quality Of Life.

I'm Confident In The American People.
