We Are All Called To Be Friends With Jesus. Don’t Be Afraid To Love The Lord.

We Face So Many Challenges In Life: Poverty, Distress, Humiliation, The Struggle For Justice, Persecutions, The Difficulty Of Daily Conversion, The Effort To Remain Faithful To Our Call To Holiness, And Many Others. But If We Open The Door To Jesus And Allow Him To Be Part Of Our Lives, If We Share Our Joys And Sorrows With Him, Then We Will Experience The Peace And Joy That Only God, Who Is Infinite Love, Can Give.

Holy Week Challenges Us To Step Outside Ourselves So As To Attend To The Needs Of Others: Those Who Long For A Sympathetic Ear, Those In Need Of Comfort Or Help. We Should Not Simply Remain In Our Own Secure World, That Of The Ninety-nine Sheep Who Never Strayed From The Fold, But We Should Go Out, With Christ, In Search Of The One Lost Sheep, However Far It May Have Wandered.

The Church, In Her Wisdom, Maintains The Distinction Between Engaged And Married Couples -- They Are Not The Same, Today's Culture And Society Have Become Rather Indifferent To The Delicate And Serious Nature Of This Passage.

God Never Tires Of Forgiving Us; We Are The Ones Who Tire Of Seeking His Mercy.
