We Think It Would Be Wise In You To Try To Git [sic] Influence By Offering To Print A Paper In Favor Of The Government As You Know We Are All Friends To The Constitution Yea True Friends To That Country For Which Our Fathers Bled.

The Best Way To Obtain Truth And Wisdom Is Not To Ask From Books, But To Go To God In Prayer, And Obtain Divine Teaching.

There Is No Such Thing As Immaterial Matter. All Spirit Is Matter, But Is More Fine Or Pure, And Can Only Be Discerned By Purer Eyes. We Cannot See It, But When Our Bodies Are Purified, We Shall See That It Is All Matter.

Take Away The Book Of Mormon And The Revelations, And Where Is Our Religion? We Have None.

The Lord Did Strengthen Them That They Could Bear Up Their Burdens With Ease, And They Did Submit Cheerfully And With Patience To All The Will Of The Lord.
