That The Most Acceptable Service We Render Him Is Doing Good To His Other Children. That The Soul Of Man Is Immortal, And Will Be Treated With Justice In Another Life Respecting Its Conduct In This.

Whenever We Attempt To Mend The Scheme Of Providence And To Interfere In The Government Of The World, We Had Need Be Very Circumspect Lest We Do More Harm Than Good.

Nothing In The World Is Certain Except For Death And Taxes.

I Think Opinions Should Be Judged By Their Influences And Effects; And If A Man Holds None That Tend To Make Him Less Virtuous Or More Vicious, It May Be Concluded That He Holds None That Are Dangerous, Which I Hope Is The Case With Me.
