It Is Often Those Who Are Despised

Christ So Loves His People That He Sings With Joy Over Them.

A Man Preacheth That Sermon Only Well Unto Others Which Preacheth Itself In His Own Soul. And He That Doth Not Feed On And Thrive In The Digestion Of The Food Which He Provides For Others Will Scarce Make It Savoury Unto Them; Yea, He Knows Not But The Food He Hath Provided May Be Poison, Unless He Have Really Tasted Of It Himself. If The Word Do Not Dwell With Power In Us, It Will Not Pass With Power From Us.

What Do We Want? What Would We Be At? What Do Our Souls Desire? Is It Not That We Might Have A More Full, Clear, Stable Comprehension Of The Wisdom, Love, Grace, Goodness, Holiness, Righteousness, And Power Of God, As Declared And Exalted In Christ Unto Our Redemption And Eternal Salvation?

The Least Grace Is A Better Security For Heaven Than The Greatest Gifts Or Privileges Whatsoever.

Christ Is The Meat, The Bread, The Food Of Our Souls. Nothing Is In Him Of A Higher Spiritual Nourishment Than His Love, Which We Should Always Desire.
