What Was That? They Changed The World By Changing Themselves. Now Is That Over? No. Is The Civil Rights Movement Over? No. These Movements Have Not Accomplished What They Set Out To Accomplish.

There Are Things About Classic Liberalism That Obviously I'm Drawn To And I Bet All Of You Are As Well. Those Are Things Like Liberty, Freedom, The Bill Of Rights. But The Reason That I Reject The Label Is That I Grew Up Cutting My Teeth Against The Liberals.

To Be A Human Being Is To Suffer. But It's The Unnecessary Suffering, It's The Suffering That We Visit Upon One Another, That Really Should Be Stopped.

I Feel Like I'm The Same Person Who Sat In At The Draft Board In 1965, I'm The Same Person Who Joined A Fraternity, I'm The Same Person Who Got An Mfa At Bennington, And I'm The Same Person Who Founded Weather Underground. My Values Are Still Intact.
