Going Out And Not Only Meeting The Kids, But Meeting The Teachers And The Librarians And Seeing The World, Fills Me Up.

Every Morning For, I Don't Know How Long, I Came Over To Alison's [mcghee] House And We Sat In Her Office And Wrote The Stories "out Loud" Together. We Yelled At Each Other And Made Each Other Laugh. It Was A Lot Of Fun.

I've Been Recognized In Airports Lots Of Places, But Mostly Getting Recognized Is At Home.

One, We [with Alison Mcghee] Laugh A Lot - That Was Great. Two, I Enjoy Writing, But It's A Lonely Undertaking. To Have Someone In The Room With Me Is An Absolute Delight And Makes It Seem Less Impossible. It Became A Kind Of Comforting, Joyful Process.
