After Working For A Few Years In The Industry, You Want To Branch Out And Do Your Own Thing And I Think That's Something That Has Always Been Important To Me Is Strengthening The Brand And Just Sticking To "this Is Who We Are, This Is Our Identity, This Is Who We're Going To Be". I Definitely Respect Other Designers But I Don't Necessarily Have One That I Look Up To.

The First Series I Wrote, 'l.a. Candy,' Was Always Meant To Be A Three-book Series, So When I Started Out It Was All Outlined That Way And By The Time I Was Done With The Third Book, I Had Become So Involved And The Process And The Stories, I Was A Little Bit Sad To Be Done.
