In Fact, It's Good. It's Just That Doing Them In God's Power Is The Only Way Those Things Will Have Any Real And Lasting Effect In Our Lives.

I Want To Look My Best For God. So Many People Have The Attitude That If You're A Christian You've Got To Dress Bad, Wear An Old Color, Not Do Anything To Your Hair, Have Nothing. It's No Wonder That Christianity Is Not Very Attractive. I Mean, How Many People Do You Know In A Western Culture That's Going To Go, 'yeah, Give Me Some Of That?'

God Works According To The Law Of Gradual Growth, So Don't Be Discouraged If Your Progress Seems Slow.

I Had Lots Of Hurt And Lots Of Pain, Lots Of Woundedness, Bruises, Broken Heartedness In My Life. I Was Abused Sexually By My Father, Abused Mentally, Emotionally. My Mom Didn't Know What To Do About It, And She Was Being Hurt In The Process. So She Just Didn't Deal With It. And I Can Guarantee You, Just Because You Don't Deal With Something, That Doesn't Make It Go Away.
