Being Left Of Center Is Another Thing; It's A Political Position. I Think Most Newspapermen By Definition Have To Be Liberal; If They're Not Liberal, By My Definition Of It, Then They Can Hardly Be Good Newspapermen.

We Cannot Defer This Responsibility To Posterity. Time Will Not Wait.

A Handful Of Us Determine What Will Be On The Evening News Broadcasts, Or, For That Matter, In The New York Times Or Washington Post Or Wall Street Journal.
