It Would Not Only Decide What Commodities And Services Were To Be Available And In What Quantities; It Would Be Able To Direct Their Distributions Between Persons To Any Degree It Liked.

Once Wide Coercive Powers Are Given To Governmental Agencies For Particular Purposes, Such Powers Cannot Be Effectively Controlled By Democratic Assemblies.

The Problems Raised By A Conscious Direction Of Economic Affairs On A National Scale Inevitably Assume Even Greater Dimensions When The Same Is Attempted Internationally.
