Great Tragedy Has Come To Us, And We Are Meeting It With The Best That Is In Our Country, With Courage And Concern For Others Because This Is America. This Is Who We Are.

Most Of You Probably Didn't Know That I Have A New Book Out. Some Guy Put Together A Collection Of My Wit And Wisdom - Or, As He Calls It, My Accidental Wit And Wisdom. But I'm Kind Of Proud That My Words Are Already In Book Form.

Sometimes I'm Frustrated. Rarely Surprised. Sometimes I'm Happy, You Know. But War Is Not A Time Of Joy.

It Would Send An Unbelievably Terrible Signal To Reformers Across The Region. It Would Say We've Abandoned Our Desire To Change The Conditions That Create Terror. It Would Give The Terrorists A Safe Haven From Which To Launch Attacks. It Would Embolden Iran. It Would Embolden Extremists. That's Why We're Not Leaving Iraq.

The Message Is For Everybody Who Wears The Uniform: Get Ready. The United States Will Do What It Takes To Win This War... And This Is An Administration That Is Going To Dedicate Ourselves To Winning That War.
